- Wells Fargo Advisor is seeing parcels
and property assets as inheritable items causing concerns and bringing him clients, seeks new clients with $200K or more to manage. Interesting sidebar about new World War II Memorial in Washington DC and a gathering of vets at ILM airport before they take off to visit this new national monument. Also a sidebar about a Teaching kids to play Golf program that is reaching 7000 participants (school age kids) in NHC (teaches golf and leadership (like eagle scouts does) skills to youngsters)
- Sun Trust Commercial Relationships Manager sees commercial properties being finished (a new Health Spa) and some becoming vacated (an OB/Gyn is vacating)
- BlueTone Media is developing new websites for a local inventor and a national NASCAR quizgame
- Sun Trust Mortgage Loan Officer discussed some business-related goings-on of some new businessmen and women (members involved in the new gym opening up??) with NB Magazine and Coldwell
- Rhodes Law Offices reports back about meeting-and-greeting place (new Best Western) getting its drink and soda machines installed and looking at possible calendar dates in June for us NBBN to
have an event [do we have a title for this event yet? "NBBN-Free Appetizer Meet and Greet?" do we have a guideline for what kind of guests we want to invite and how best to advertise the invite?]
- NB Magazine told an amusing tale of two businesses next door to each other named Tango and Mango (I have no idea what the business is that these two partners once did together that they now do separately, feel free to edit this entry).
- NB Chiropractic sees new gym as a much-needed and appropriate business in this area
- Asset Storage provides B2B storage and space needs (think garage bands practice and shipping fulfillment workspace) along with the more usual self-storage needs of residential customers, including boat storage
- Gottcha Covered reports a really positive uptick in the finishes of new home builds in recent weeks and landing their business with his high-end American-made window finish accessories. Also reports the recent departure of one of only three OB/GYNs leaves a second floor vacancy and where will 176 pregnant women now go for these needs. (The remaining OB GYNs will be swamped)
- Coldwell Seacoast Realty gave example sales in Magnolia Green (an eleven year old upscale subdivision) and has had three closings in a single day recently (she normally likes having 20 actives so is seeking more homes to sell)
